New Nails

Dear Gals,

today I decided spontaneously that my nails should be done.
Once in life I wanted to try it out and because I have eight weeks off (no hospital work at least) it's okay to do so.

I went shopping, find some nice things at least at Zeichencenter Ebeling and Hunkemöller  and then just let my nails done.

I didn't want something too extraordinary, so just a simple design
for the first (and last?) time.

Starting with colors - renovation (1)

Hey Gals!

So here's my little rallye about me, redecorating my room.

♥ 2014.03.25 ♥

Today I finally got the second part of my photos by Rossman.
The right-now-printing service is pretty good and the photos have good quality!

I just stick them to my door in an chaotic order but I like it that way. ♥
Of course that wasn't all because the door would have looked too empty.

I've never tried out wall tattoos before and ordered a bigger package with 96pcs on Ebay.

Because I planned to have a girly like room and I love sakura blossoms so much, I decided to
get these ones.

They are easy to put on the door and after half an hour (and baking a cake by the way, too),
it was finished.

Here's a little preview.

♥ 2014.03.27 ♥

Today, I managed to go to Hellweg to look for the colours needed for painting my room.
I absolutely forgot how heavy these things can be, using public transport.

So, here are my chosen colours:

The main part is the mixes English Rose B4 by Vincent. It's a little bit more lilac than in the picture here.
Twilight will only be a small part.
The lilac wallpaper is just the icing on the cake. Also a little bit wrong above.

This is just a better example:

So how to put this together?
Here's the layout.

Unfortunately the furniture doesn't look so great with the new colours but I wanted to buy new ones, nevertheless, so it's okay for a while.

Thank God the rosé is lighter than in the picture. xD

It's really great that you can let mix so many different colour within 5 minutes!
And it isn't much more expensive than the usual colours.

I only payed + 3€ and that's okay.
At least I also had twice as much colour than the expensive Schöner Wohnen colour.
But... I'm so in love with the Twilight nuance.

Tomorrow I will buy the rest of things: ingrain wallpaper, glue, cover blanket, etc. with my father who will help me.

Thank you, dad!

I really don't like to use the public transport with 7,5kg in my hands, 1kg in my bag and keep annoying other people.   ~w

So I can start de-decorating my room~

Good Night. ♥

P.S.:
I couldn't resist starting the next costume, too...
When I was at the market on Tuesday I just wanted to get some good white fabric ... but failed.
In the end, I found a lot of other great stuff... and now I'm working on the Utapri summer school uniform for Haru-chan. The skirt's already finished. ♥

I also started sewing my own clothes since I don't like the upcoming things too much.
It's just a little hard since I'm still not really used of using patterns, etc.
The first one is a green kingdom checked blouse.
I will show you once the buttons arrived and it's finished! ♥ ^^

Leipzig bookfair 2014

Hello my dear Gals!

How have you been?
As I told you before I was in Leipzig, ready to attend the bookfair a week ago.

It was a pretty nice weekend, starting from Friday evening on.
Travelling with the Interconnex from Berlin to Leipzig was really relaxing.
I took the chance to read a bit more about Tokyo in my cityguide, which Kotone sent me, and listened to relaxing drama soundtracks.

In Leipzig central station I had enough time to look around (It's nice to be there since it's like a whole shopping mall).

Getting my train to Leipzig Messe and finally took the taxi to the guesthouse I arrived there around 8 o'clock.
Lisa and I didn't do anything special then.

Just finishing her dress with some stitches (that we couldn't do because I got sick when we wanted to meet), watching Pocahontas on TV and went early to bed... but just kept talking another hour .... because we can! (our weekend's slogan).

After getting ready on Saturday morning we took the taxi to the bookfair.
It was just easy, comfortable and warm but cheap, too, so we decided to use this on the way there and the way back for Sunday, too.

Nanami Haruka & Shibuya Tomochika
Uta no Prince-sama ~♪

Arriving at the bookfair we just "checked in" meeting a friend of Lisa who was with us for some time.
It was a good idea to have an own hall for manga & comic stuff but still the bookfair is too crowded (and on Sunday it seems pretty empty ~w) We did not buy anything at the stalls.

Around afternoon/early evening while wandering around we found our lovely dear Uta no Prince-sama cosplay group. It really was a coincidence but thanks to that we met wonderful people and kept the contact afterwards, too. A lot of funny photos followed. ♥

When we returned to the guesthouse Lisa was so tired that she was fast asleep while I was washing and drying my hair in the bathroom. xD

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The next morning we had to get up a little bit earlier because it was the last day and we had to leave with our luggage. The guesthouse owner's wife was so cute. ♥

Lisa said, that she always wants to see the costumes we made and so we showed ourself in our dresses.
She was amazed and you could seen in her eyes how happy she was, remembering the time of rock'n'roll, petticoat & co. So cute! ♥

She told us that she was a professional sewer in earlier days and that she liked to have the biggest the fullest petticoat out of everyone. I feel a little bit ashamed because I just can sew stuff in my very own clumsy way. xD"

So, spending the day at the bookfair was more than relaxed. In the afternoon we met some people from the day before and had a nice time with them again! ♥

In the end I even bought an Alpaka - FINALLY! ♥
(and it was too popular among old ladies and the train stuff xD)

This is Flöckchen! ♥

Nice point of the day: I looked for Lau on Sunday (it was much easier to find people than on the crowded Saturday) and found her ♥
I'm glad!
Although you know a little bit about people when you're reading their blogs, it's a bigger difference to talk to them, of course.
I  got a good first impression of her!  ~ haha. ;3

Around late afternoon we just took our suitcases and went to Leipzig central station early.
We were too tired to stay until the end and so Lisa and I just got something to eat and waited for our train which head off to Berlin around 7pm.

One of my absolute favourite shots this day. ♥

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

All in all it was a pretty nice event, almost like every year.
We laughed a lot, met a lot of old and new acquaintances, took a lot of pictures... and I felt stalked by too many Alpakas until I bought one!

I am really looking forward to next year, since the cosplays are already decided and fabrics are ordered.
But that's another topic to talk about.

Also the fact, that I finally will redecorate my room, since I'm on vacation (just have to work on Wednesday) and decided on colours for painting today.

Cosplay Preview

Dear gals,

tomorrow evening I'll head to Leipzig!

I just checked everything twice and talked with Lisa about the timetable.

So after receiving a petticoat from my friend Jessi (thanks for the rescue!!)

I just tried Haru-chan once more and here you can finally see the whole result.

I'm finally satisfied and feeling good in that dress and as that character.
(When I wore it the first time as a trial I didn't feel comfortable.)

And here is my wonderful Tomo-chan! ♥

For Sunday we planned to switch.
Haha, I wonder how I will look like as Tomochika?

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

There aren't many progress photos because I just sewn mine
right away. At least while sewing Tomo-chan there
exist two photos.

♥ So, let's go!! ♥

Amigurumi // LBM preparations

Hey Gals!

It's already March and on the weekend the bookfair in Leipzig will open its gates!

I'm really looking forward to it but I have to recover again since I got another cold thanks to my colleagues who work when they're sick and don't wear a surgical mask!

I'm a bit angry about that!

Well but nevertheless the costume is ready for LBM.

We cancelled the second one because of some problems and so only have one.
That's okay because the luggage will be easier.

I'm really happy to spend a nice weekend with Lisa! ♥

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So ... what can you do when you're sick?

At the moment I'm not able to draw anything... first because of tearing and swollen eyes, second because I just can't draw right now.

Reading is also bad and watching TV... well - I watched a lot of J-Drama and movies recently but I just need doing something else.

I give you an image of what I'm doing right now:

Isn't it cute? ヾ(*´ー`)ノ
I don't show you the first trial but the second and third one as you can see here is already fine!
They are done with the pattern of Lee Mei Li who is really talented! ♥
It still takes a lot of time to do one of these little dolls but mostly it's fun. (‘∀’●)♡

Next time I will try out some dogs.
Let's see if it work out well! ♥

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Oh and I finally passed my JLPT exam!
I was so relieved and happy to get my letter a few days ago! (T//T)

From tomorrow on I will study again.
At the moment it's easy for me to remember all the grammar lectures.
I have to make use of this good chance.
