May haul

Hey my dear gals! (*^ー^)ノ

Today I had to go to the doc and didn't notice it at first but going to the bus stop afterwards again, I saw some interesting outfits in a little fashion store. ♥

Usually it's a cheap possibility for families to buy clothes for their children but they have some nice stuff for adults, too. (・∀・)

This month's new collection got the slogan

"STRAWBERRY"

I really, really love strawberries as a print on clothes or accessories so I couldn't resist buying...
all pieces.

Thank god it was cheap! (〃∇〃)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

cute almost knee-length dress

simple black bolero

combination strawberry shirt and
a strawberry patterned blouse

the t-shirt itself

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

And yesterday arrived a letter and three little gifts from C.-chan.

A cute heart-shaped long necklace and a hairslide. ♥
I think the necklace will fit nicely to my new dress.

Magazine package from Japan arrived! ♥

Hello gals!  ゜゚*☆

Today another package arrived and I was so surprised because I didn't expect it. \(゜□゜)/
My penpal sent me the "promised" one!
Oh my, so many great things to read!! (‐^▽^‐)

First two books about Japanese cuisine and the landscape.

The recipe book is pretty cool because it's in Japanese AND in English. ♥
There are a lot of great meals to deal with and in the end of the book they even show you how to work with special national vegetables, fruits, fish, etc.

The photobook also is really great! It gives you an impression of Japan in many many adorable pictures! (*^ー^)ノ

And now... the girlish part of it...

I wonder how the salesman or -woman looked like when S-kun bought these magazines!
Poor S-kun!! I'm so sorry for such an embarrassing task! ... No, I'm actually not! xD

- Sweet 05/13
- AneCan 06/13
- Hair arrange special magazine

For sure... the two fashion magazines are soooo thick... around 400p. !!
Wow!  (≧▽≦)

And the hair tutorial magazine is amazing!
The model Yuka is the cover girl for this issue and there's an interview in the mag with her, too!  (〃∇〃)
(She got the female lead role in the dorama "papa wa doru" - maybe you have seen it)

Ah, I'm really happy now! ♥

I will definitely show you some pictures, outfits, etc. of the magazines and I hope to try out the tutorials and recipes soon!  (^ε^)♪

What's inside your favourite bag?

The week's really a mess. (T_T)
So because I can't tell you anything new, I decided to do another meme.
It's a pretty famous one, as you may all know, so here we go without any introduction first:

My favourite bag since almost three years is my black Sugar & Candy schoolbag.

I bought it when I went to university and since when it was always soo helpful for studying, school now and for free time activities.
It's like I can't live without it anymore. -w

So what's inside is this:

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Recently I haven't got my memo and stylus always with me and the book already changed but the rest is definitely the same. (^__^)

Just add a bottle of Vittel water but that's not so special I had to take a picture with it, too. -w

Recipe: An Alternative to Strammer Max

Hey gals! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

Do you know the German dish "Strammer Max" ?
It's a snack consisting brown bread with ham and fried eggs and can be very tasty.

But in my case it's too fat because of the fried egg and so I just alternate it a bit. ^^;

The outcome was pretty yummy, smoothly and the egg yolk was still a bit liquid. (〃∇〃)
The only deficit is the look. It looks like a misbuilded combination of fried egg and poached egg. -w

I have to practise more! (TωT)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

An alternative to Strammer Max

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

☆ Ingredients

 for one person

1 middle sized egg
1 toast
1 some poultry cold meat, ham, ... whatever you like
2 l water
50 ml vinegar

☆ How to make

☆ Prepare your poached egg

1. Add 2 l water in a high saucepan
2. Heat the water (it mustn't boil!)
3. Add 50 ml vinegar to the water
4. Break the egg into a cup or glass
5. Add the egg slowly and carefully into the water
6. Turn it with spoon carefully so that the egg yolk is covered by the egg white.
7. Wait 3-5 minutes (if you like it smoother, only 3 minutes)
8. Put the whole egg with a skimmer on a plate, let it cool down.

☆ Finish the toast

1. Just put the toast in the toaster
2. Spread some butter on the toast and add the cold meat on it.
3. Add the poached egg on it

Bags, Vinyl & Hello Kitty

Hello Darlings!

I'm finally able to blabber a bit since I'm done with studying and can enjoy the last day of work and the weekend.

Yesterday & today really were a bit cold. It's the end of May and we've got 13°C although the Eisheiligen should have been over since last week.
So it was time to wear some sweat shirt or pullover again.
I decided for my Hello Kitty hoodie.

I like the sleeves with the all over Kitty pattern.
Usually I don't like wearing pink things but this one, combined with Black ist just too cool. ♥

Then, after going to the dentist, I stopped by a little shop I always wanted to go to but never did.
It had a lot of special and alternative clothes but also cool bags.
I felt in love with a navyblue leather bag that reminds me of classical bureau or school leather bags.
Files and standard size paper fit perfectly into it and there is so much storage room... great! ♥

When I come home, my package already awaited me...
I really love listening to vinyl because the sound is just much better - really extraordinary.
This time I decided for Depeche Mode's latest album I addicted to. ♥

Outfit collection of the last week [21]

Hey Gals!

So for today just a short collection of last weeks outfits.
Monday and Tuesday were only shirt&jeans days, so I didn't take a picture of it.

☆*° Wednesday °*☆

It was another warm day and I finally wanted to wear my
blue blazer again.

☆*° Thursday °*☆

My favourite fifi lapin T-shirt had another go.
These Chinese slippers are really comfortable and I was grateful to have
them after a hard working day. ^^

☆*° Friday °*☆

Colour code: totally in blue.

☆*° Saturday °*☆

It was a bit cooler and I decided to wear some streetstyle outfit
again. Recently I don't like printed shirts, but this Mickey&Minnie T-shirt
is really adorable.

☆*° Sunday °*☆

Another warm day and time for wearing one of the
nude color based short onepieces.

New shoes ♥ Japanese novel recommends

Today I just had to do the shopping and I went by Deichmann. (〃∇〃)

I still needed some flat shoes for summer.
I was lucky to find these cute ones showing in the picture below! ~ ♥
And I even didn't need to buy a bigger size... but a smaller one... (°__°)"

That was surprising (haha). ♥

I really like them! (*⌒∇⌒*)

The surface is leatherlike, the ribbon, the gems and the small books looks pretty cute and they are really comfortable.
Moreover there is a small heel but only about 2-3cm, so I can walk with them all day.

I'm looking forward to nice weather again to present them the world. ♥

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Recently, I started reading books by Japanese authors.

In my opinion the style totally differs from western authors and so I want to recommend you two of my favourite writers.

First is Yoshimoto Banana.
This woman can write so well and touching and in a very refreshing way.

If you like to have some young spirits-book, please read "Tsugumi".
It's about the friendship of two girls - one is extroverted, one is a bit more introverted.
Tsugumi is something like a tsundere girl, likes to play pranks and is very direct in her way of speach and also sassy in behaviour. Maybe also very self-fish and hard to handle.
Her friend Maria is the opposite way and you may ask yourself how such an friendship can last. But that's the whole point in the story: It did.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The book "Dornröschenschlaf" (Eng. title "Asleep") consist of three stories:
"Night and Night's Travelers", "Love Songs" and "Asleep". Compared to "Tsugumi" the stories are much more depressive and are about real life problems like depression, suicide or alcohol.
Each story discusses relationships between people and how they affect our lifes.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The same goes for the book "Kitchen", consisting "Kitchen" and "Moonlight shadow".
Somehow it reminds me of the short stories of Franz Kafka, which are also much more depressive than it's good for one's own sake.

But you really would miss something if you don't read Yoshimoto Banana's books!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The other author I want to introduce is Kawakami Hiromi and her book "Der Himmel ist blau, die Erde ist weiß" ("Sensei no kaban").

You may have heard of the same named graphic novel. This is the real story it is based on!

It tells the story of Tsukiko and her "Sensei" from former highschool days - first we only meet by coincidence in a pub and afterwards love keeps developing until it hits both of them.

The relationship after the confession is written pretty briefly.
More important is the story before: the quirks of the old and etiquette retaining teacher in comparison to the modern life of a single woman in her forties. Trips, meetings and how they get to know each others world.

There are a lot of scens that makes you smirk and in the end I'm still sad that the book ended so suddenly. (haha)

Please read it, if you want to read some realistic but special love story.
Don't be scared, it isn't cheesy at all!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Today is such a rainy day... I will keep doing chores,
studying and just relaxing, eating an onigiri. ^^

New makeup & nail polish items

Hello-hello!

Yesterday and today I went to the drugstore because I wanted to buy new makeup since I haven't done this for (felt) ages.

651 Cool Blue - Colorshow (Maybelline)
03 E Sake my Day - Yeah&Yang (Manhatten)
05 To die for - Quattro Eyeshadow (essence)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

I really like this eyeshadow combination by essence.

After I couldn't stand pink eyeshadow any longer, I decided to go with the natural line and so I wear this combination everyday at work.

It's simple but with the right technique and highlights it looks pretty cool, I think.
(That doesn't mean, I know the right technique... I'm still a 2nd grade beginner in makeup)

As an addition I sometimes use mono-eyeshadow of Kiko, too. These are the shimmering ones in brown with gold or pure white.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

I haven't had green and blue pastel colored nail polish before and I really wanted to have some mintgreen thing.

Applying the Manhatten's nail polish is as pretty easy as ever.

It dries within a minute but for a maximum of saftey it's better to wait five minutes. The result is glossy and exactly like it should be.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The Maybelline's one is an item of the subcategory Colorshow.

Colorshow gives great results with applying just once.
It really is s a cool blue but also a bit stronger than shown.

Nevertheless 1,95€ is absolutely great for these colours!! ♥

Good Night!

SEVENTEEN 05/2013 issue

I still don't have the mag by myself but I found some great scans, so I want to talk to it though~

Acutally, I don't like that issue too much...
The trend of having natural black hair again and styling it naturally, too, isn't my favourite kind of style.
The make-up was just too simple and the outfits... well yeah. I missed the cute style somehow. (T_T)
I hope the next one is better...
Nevertheless there were of course some cool outfits I really like and I want to show you. ^^

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Here are the makeups I don't like at tall...
I know those models are still young but pigtail braids or childish hairpins don't
make it better. The second picture is something I like 50-50.

Yeah, these two are a bit older but in my opinion they already
look different because of the hairstyle.
It's very easy but effective, don't you think so?
Imagine them with the hairstyles from above...

What I liked was the "how to cut your bangs" tutorial.
Almost exactly what I o every single month. Haha.

Sweets & Candy package from Japan arrived!

Hey gals! ☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*
What a wonderful day! (at least in Berlin) ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ
When I got home from work something was waiting for me...

My dear penpal Shinji sent this to me.
I was surprised about the fast delivering! ∑(゚Д゚)

Well... and what was inside...
He told me that right now he hasn't got the money for sending me more than sweets&candy but that was totally fine with me. Especially after... unpacking! (〃∇〃)

Strawberry, normal chocolate
and Matcha chocolate cubes!
In front: chocolate pyramids with liquid
chocolate inside! ♥

Potatoe chips - I guess the right one are also chips but
with ume flavour (°_°)

Typical chocolate biscuits in different shapes

And I have to admit... I'm really happy about those Pockys!
I love Pockys!! <3
And I haven't had the midi ones before.
Haha. ♥ (〃∇〃)

Tomorrow or the day after I can finally send my package to Japan, too.
But the shipping costs are really... expensive.
40,00€ ... that's absolutely unacceptable! (T__T)

Outfit collection of the last week [20]

So the last week I tried to collect some outfits (and just failed on Friday).
With work and everything there aren't so many things to write about since three weeks~ ^^;

I'm sorry that I haven't styled my hair in most cases.
Thanks to hospital work and early shifts... I have to admit it...
I'm too lazy in the morning. (T_T)

☆*° Monday °*☆

☆*° Tuesday °*☆

☆*° Wednesday °*☆

It was the first day I could wear shorts in the morning
without getting cold. °__°

☆*° Thursday °*☆

As I wrote in the last entry some of us cosplayed.
I did, too - "Nora Aynalem Greene" from the movie "Warm Bodies".
Nevertheless thanks to the wig it reminds me of Katniss Everdeen from "Hunger Games".
But wearing no bangs at all doesn't fit me. Really.
(left photo by Tanja, right photo by Lisa)

☆*° Friday - cancelled. °*☆

Really - I was in a hurry and just put jeans and shirt together. 8D

☆*°Saturday °*☆

I changed the shoes then and wore my white sneakers.
That's fitting much better.

☆*° Sunday °*☆

... would I had gone anywhere and it had been sunny warm weather:

Reminds me that I have to sew this skirt tighter.
It was claimed to be a 40 - indeed it's a 42. (^^;)
