♥ Happy Easter! ♥

Hey Gals!

Just a short message for you all:

We had a late breakfast and because my mother bought a lot of sweets, we prepared two little easter baskets.

Some sweets were still left over and so I put them into our little easter garden basket.

Oh and I like the app "Girls' Camera".
Sometimes it doesn't work right, but it's nice to have almost real purikura.

I miss them! 。゚(T^T)゚。

Purikura are so great! ♥

I want to make a lot of them next springtime! о(ж>▽<)y ☆

Tattoos, Lindt-chocolate and upcoming reviews

Well, here's another one because I don't want to mix recipes with other topics. -w

This time I actually wanted to talk about the tattoo studio I visited.
No, I didn't get tattooed but I collected information because I may want to have one.

The problem is the possible side effects - because I'm allergic against a lot of things and so I needed to be tested on the blue color first...
that's the only real reason why I'm not sure about this. (T▽T;)

Health is something nobody can bring back to you!
So please always take care of yourself, gals, and think twice about such decisions! ♥

Nevertheless:
The motif should be a common morpho - the emperor. (〃∇〃)
Because my tattooist is much more into realistic images, it may can turn out like the butterfly here (but a bit more filigree).
She will show me a sketch of hers in two weeks, based on my own drawn sketch.
Oh, maybe I should choose a dog image? She's very talented in drawing and tattooing dog pictures!
Just kidding.

So it's still waiting & testing time. ((>д<))

What about you, gals?!
Do you have any tattoos, do you wish you had one?
Or are you absolutely against it?
I'm really interested into your opionions!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Then I went to our super market because I just wanted to get a few Lindt-Chocolates. ♥
They had an off of 50% because of Easter and so I bought for my parents and me some.
I still love them - as a child I never wanted to eat them because they were like friends for me. (><;)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

And while I was walking to the checkout I found two other very important items.

First, a new blush.
It's from Manhattan and is called "Trio Effect Blush.Pink Cupcake (35P 55W 51D)".
Cute name isn't it?  (=⌒▽⌒=)
I will write a small review when I try this out!

Second, click-on nails.
Because of my job and because I'm still in an apprenticeship it's not allowed to wear any kind of nailpolish or acrylic/gel nails.
I'll still have lessons from next week on, so it's okay to try this out.
These click-on nails should least 1 week per maximum.

They had a lot of nice styles and designs -
first I thought to buy the leopard pattern ones,
but I simply didn't like how they were coloured.
These ones are cooler.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So the next post will be all about reviews, I guess.
Review about the blush, the nails, oh ... and the K-Pop party tomorrow evening!
This will be my first K-Pop party ever because I hadn't the chance to go before thanks to work or being ill.... I'm absolutely excited and hope that they play a lot of SuJu, 2NE1, MBLAQ, etc. (≧▽≦)

Recipe: Jap. strawberry shortcake

So here it is - my very first strawberry shortcake as you may know from Japan. (‐^▽^‐)

Usually I really like to make buttercream cakes because you don't have to put them in the oven,
it's quick work and you can decorate them really cute.

But butter is such a fat thing... if you eat one piece of cake you may can't eat another one and some people can't stand too much fat.  ^^;

So I wanted to try a lighter one and that was the perfect chance to try out the recipe I found.
I just changed a few things, so here's "my" recipe for you.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Strawberry Shortcake

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

☆ Ingredients

 for the base

1 three-parted flan base (in German it's known as "Wiener Tortenboden"
If you want to make your own cake base you would need the following things:
4 large eggs
120g granulated sugar (sifted one time)
3 tb milk (room temperature)
1/2 tb vanilla extract
120g cake flour (sifted three times)
22g melted butter

☆ for the creme

2 cups whip cream
2 tsp. of gelatine without flavour
8 tsp. of cold water
1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

☆ for the syrup

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water

☆ and

250-300g fresh strawberries
strawberry jam
chocolate graters

☆ How to make your cake

☆ Prepare your cake

1. Preheat the oven (170-180°C)
2. Coat a 18-26cm springform pan with butter and sprinkle wheatlet on it so the cake base lifting will be easier after baking
3. Part the eggs in egg white and egg yolk
4. Add the granulated sugar to egg white and whip it until it's stiff
5. Add the egg yolk slowly and whisk it until it's blended
6. Fold in the milk, vanilla extract and cake flour one by one. Fold in the butter, too.
7. The batter should be smoothy, when it's okay.
8. Put the batter into the springform pan, remove air bladders and let it bake for 25-30min
9. If the cake base is goldbrown and springs back after you push into it, it's finished. Let it cool down.

☆ Prepare the creme

1. Add the cold water into a small saucepan.
2. sprinkle the gelatine over the water and just let it be for 5min. No stirring!
3. Afterwards, stirr with low heat and a wooden spoon until the gelatine has dissolved
4. Let it cool down (room temperature)
5. Add whip creme, confectioner's sugar and vanilla extract into one bowl and whip it until it's almost stiff
6. Then add slowely the gelatine
7. Mix it on fast level until it's really stiff.
8. Put it into the refridgerator, until you needed it.

☆ Prepare the syrup

1. Add the granulated sugar and the water into a saucepan
2. Let the water and boil while stirring, until the sugar as dissolved
3. Let it cool down

☆ Finish your cake

1. Hold back 6-10 strawberries as decoration, quarter the others
2. Cut the cake base in three parts if it's self made.
When you put the layers together, coat each layer with the syrup before working on it! (Exception: the lower part of the basement)
3. Basement: a thin layer of strawberry jam
4. Second part: a thin layer of creme, strawberries and afterwards creme again (the strawberries should be covered)
5. Top coat and side: Creme
For an easier coating take a spatula or a large knife.
As decoration use the other strawberries and the chocolate graters
Last point: Don't forget to put it in the refridgerator again until it's serving time!!

My friends really liked the cake! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

Today's Japan styled party

A friend's birthday was yesterday and so she wanted to celebrate it, of course.

I-chan really likes Japanese culture, cuisine and just the way of of traditional style.
So it was already predictable for me that the motto would be something like "Japan".

Usually it's the right time to show our yukata or kimono but I wanted to do something different:
A 'natural looking' kogyaru outfit! o(〃^▽^〃)o

I have to admit that I really love school uniforms (that's the reason why one fourth of my costumes are school girl characters) and since I read GALS! again I'm much more into it!!

What's the meaning of 'natural looking' ?! I just like a simple and natural kogyaru style more than the 'original one': tanned, bleached hair, the makeup style... ^^

It was already late that night but I decided to try on my kogal outfit.
I would have added some accessoires, made a proper hair arrangement but...

When I woke up this morning and looked out of my window the motivation was gone.
It was snowing again... too cold... and I couldn't bring everything necessary with me because
I had to transport my short cake to I-chan, too. (T_T)

So I changed my mind and decided to wear some kind of casual and a bit romantic style in black and rosé. ♥

It would have been so much fun because another friend was disguised as a Japanese tourist.
She looked awful, had a great wrong spelled and fake Japanese nickname...

Means: in another way it was just hilarious!! (≧▽≦)

"Kanpaiiiii~ atode, shashin wo to~tte kudasai ne~?"

"Gosh! I will be the next SCAWAII MODEL!!!"

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

But nevertheless I tried out fake lashes.

I didn't dare to use the new ones and had for a first real trial the one's of Fingers I tried to use for the bookfair in Leipzig but failed.  ( ̄ー ̄;

It was tricky again and I still have to practise but the result wasn't so bad, was it?
(Well, I saw the lacks of course! ~ ^^;)

I didn't take the picture right from the front... so it looks a bit weird.

In fact it's really a difference. I was surprised because I've never used them before since I have natural long and thick lashes.
(But would be better to notice without any make up here in the picture. ... I hadn't time for that - I was already a bit late! -w)

The glue I bought last time is pretty good.
I really didn't need much of it for the lashes and they held the whole time without problems.
There were also no skin or eye irritiations. I'm often a bit too sensitive and allergic.
So it's a real good one - at least for me. Haha.

Guess it was 3,95€ for 5ml

I just compared the lashes by Essence (first picture) and by Finger's (second picture) considering their designs and I think I like both of them but the Fingers ones are more dramatic, right?

Would may be the right thing for the party on Sunday... hm... let's see. (*゜▽゜ノノ゛☆

They are made of two rows in one: long lashes and short ones, so you really got a thick and fantastic result of lashes.

Good thing is that I don't need lashes for the lower part at all if my own lashes have a good day. Sometimes they just want to be aside or stinging my eye. Lol.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

The last topic of this post will be about ... a new item.

As I already told, I wanted to buy the pink pumps and.... I got them!
Can't wait until next week when they will hopefully arrive! :)

And because I don't have a nice flower pattern skirt at all I found this one for 6€, too.
I like the small pockets on the front.
Skirts are great but pockets are pretty handy! ♥

Cute little skirt... you're mine!

Tomorrow I will talk about the short cake I made and the visit in the tattoo studio.
I have to write a lot since my holidays are over from Tuesday on... maamaa~ 。゚(T^T)゚。

That reminds me... Nadine is in London right now...
I envy her a bit. ♥
I wonder what she will buy?
Please, have fun, my dear!

First entry & March haul

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Finally the new journal is ready! ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

It really took some time because I'm not used to design editors...
I like the result but let's see how far it will change in a while. ♥

So this is the first entry... I'm a little bit nervous. (〃∇〃)

I already wrote some journals but never have such gal talks particulary.

I will do my best!!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

So for a start I will tell you something about my recent shopping tours.

I really like shopping - even if it's only window-shopping because it's always fun to try on different outfits or pieces of clothing.
Sometimes I also try on stuff that are absolutely not my style!

But the last week and today, too, were a total success as I haven't found any nice things for a while.
I really like this spring's colors but it's a total mess to find great clothes, here in Germany.
I don't like most of the fashion lines they offer.

Nevertheless - that's what I bought (and why I wouldn't buy a lot next month):

(Geez- now I will finally calculate how much money I actually spent...)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Clothes

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

I really like this minidress.
It was a purchase on ebay and pretty cheap.
It fits perfectly and gives a smooth bodyline!

I bought this white lace shirt and the jeans in
used optic in a H&M store.
The shoes their just for the photo because
high heels fit so well to denim stuff.

Because I was in a need of a new sweater
because winter is still in town,
so I went to Pimkie and found a great and
cuddly one. It was 60% off! -
For 13€ I bought it of course!

I also needed some simple shirts because
I can't stand the funny/cute (comic) prints
on T-shirts anymore... This was a snap of 13€, too.
But it's the usual price.
Bought at Orsay.

And if I'm lucky I will get this
super cute pumps for 10€, too!

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Accessoires

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

I love Disney - especially if it comes to home
office stuff, bedding or... accessories.
So when I bought a shirt for home at Ernsting's family,
there was this cute Mickey necklace, too!
I simply couldn't resist!

And believe it or not - I don't have any rings.
I can't wear fashion jewellery (earrings are okay)
because it is oxidating too fast.
But this cute flower ring is 925-silver
and only cost 7€ on Ebay!

I really like to look for jewellery in our
drugstore from time to time.
So this pair of ribbon earrings
caught my eye immediately!

This wasn't a snap - it was expensive.
Of course it is, it's Bijou Brigitte.
But the colors fit perfectly to the
seasonal colors, right?
And the pierces look to cute!!

I also like to buy one scarf each spring season.
I was looking for something with pastelle
colours but didn't find anything.
So this one I discovered at Orsay when I bought
the black shirt. The pattern is pretty nice -
I like flowers and birds. <3

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Cosmetics

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

I purchased much more when it is listed here, but these
are my favourite things.
(The problem was: working in hospital can be so exhausting,
you just gave yourself your everyday little portion of make-up
and not more. But now, after a year, I'm really used to work
and the schedule system again ... and so I want to take more
care of my teint and style again.
I really missed it!)

First, the Manhattan lipstick.
It's from the Perfect Creamy & Care series, 51G
Usually I have a bit darker nuances but this bright nude/rosé is absolutely fine!

Today I finally found a pastelle rosé nail polish.
Since two weeks I really started to love
the cheap "COLORAMA SHOW" (here: 77 Nebline)
by Maybelline. It's hard to find such a light color
since everyone want to sell you neon nuances in
the drugstores where I live... so I always use the chance
to explore other drugstores when I'm in the city.

Furthermore the french tip nail polish, also Manhattan.
It's really a nuisance that this one is smaller than other
nail polishes of this brand.
Every nail care or finish product of this line is smaller
and more expensive. That's cheating!

And I bought new fake lashes glue and fake lashes.
I'm still inexperienced with lashes so I have to try different
ones and this time I decided to buy the lashes by essence. They are
cheaper than the fingers version. If I'm used to it I may buy
stuff from the Internet. But especially the glue is something
I want to purchase here because I'm allergic to a lot
of things and I don't know what's inside the oversea products. ^^;

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Others

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

Of course my monthly magazines.
I went to Neotokyo yesterday for that reason and saw
that they had a lot of issues this time. So I just looked
through each of them. I bought JELLY and Scawaii as usual
(okay, usual would include the Seventeen mag, too,
but April's issue wasn't interesting) and flipped through
the pages of Popteen and egg.

I haven't done so before because most what's inside of
the magazine isn't the style I like to wear.
But it was very interesting to see what is the content
of these mags. Although I don't like the fashion style, I really
like the hair and make-up tutorials.
But sometimes the bodylines are too much edited
with photoshop. (I guess that's often a problem in Japanese
fashion mags - much more than here).

What else to say about Jelly (just working through the pages...
have to improve my Japanese. -w) ?!
A main reason for buying was the interview with Ayu - lol.
I still really like her. :)

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

That's it.

☆*゚ ゜゚*☆*゚ ゜゚*

As I said - a total success and a total loss for my wallet!
But it was worth it!! And of course this was an exception.
Usually I don't buy so many things.
But the winter was so... I don't know. I only bought a few things and none of those were spring related. I really love spring and so... it's just the way it ended. (〃∇〃)

So for the next time I guess I will write something about nailart or ... yummy delicious food. <3
